The Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) is a semi-autonomous body under the Ministry of Agriculture responsible for all agricultural research activities of the National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) in Tanzania. TARI's mandate is to conduct basic and applied research, promote and coordinate agricultural research, and advise the government and other stakeholders on matters related to agricultural research for sustainable development.
TARI isour research partner. It has worked with us to provide training on the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) standards, climate and water resilience technologies such as System of Rice Intensification (SRI), and integrated soil fertility and pest management practices.
